It obviously makes sense that the first post on this blog would be list focussed, just over a week to go before we depart and still so much to do! However we have our visas, tickets and roubles on order so that's the main things sorted and more importantly the blog is basically set up . . . and we've worked out how to post photos. Feeling very impressed with technological skills!
The last couple of weeks have been filled with several moments of "ooh, I mustn't forget that", a plethora of emails and a few phone calls from an over excited Alice.
So watch this space as we upload posts whenever we can get access to the internet, now to work out how to pack for -15 degree temperatures in Siberia and the heat of Beijing . . . any volunteers to sit on my suitcase while I zip it up . . .
So exciting! The most important thing to pack is pants, but you if you go by my Mum's philosophy you only need 2 pairs, wear one wash one! Otherwise I would say layers....something about trapping warm air in between layers and then when you get to hotter/more humid climes it won't just be big jumpers! Don't forget at least one silly hat, think of your poor chilly ears! SO JEALOUS!!
